這是我近期看過最有智慧的愛情喜劇
導演兼編劇 Woody Allen
以兩個對愛情觀點迥異的女孩Vicky and Christina
作為故事的主人翁

電影開頭的旁白就說明了她們如何不同~

Yet when it came to the subject of love，it would be hard to find two more dissimilar viewpoints.

Vicky had no tolerance for pain and no lost for combat. She was grounded and realistic. Her requirements in a man were seriousness and stability. She had become engaged to Doug because he was decent and successful，and understood the beauty of commitment.

Christina, on the other hand , expected something very different out of love. She reluctantly accepted suffering as an inevitable component of deep passion
And was resigned to putting her feelings at risk. If you asked what she was gambling her emotions to win, she would have been unable to say. She knew what she didn’t want , however.

And that was exactly what Vicky valued above all else.

接著在美好的海外旅程中
她們的迥然不同的愛情觀點讓她們的旅途起了變化…..
本來這應該是任誰都寫得出來的劇本
你知道的嘛~就是那種到因為旅途的意外而突發的羅曼史
這類的電影可謂族繁不及備載

但在Woody Allen的巧手之下
這本來應該是『旅遊豔遇』般陳腔濫調的故事
卻變成充滿人性矛盾的黑色喜劇

尤其是當由Penélope Cruz飾演的Elena爆炸性豋場
她的出現
讓Woody提出了一個愛情關係中 非常重要的觀點
“perfect balance”
有一段對話是這樣的~

Antonio：
『We were both sure that our relation was perfect, but there was something missing. You know,love requires such a perfect balance. 』

接著 Elena對Christina的出現 下了這樣的注解~

Elena：
『Because you are the missing ingredient. 』

這真是讓劇情急轉直下的關鍵
也因為這樣的發展 提給觀眾很多反思的空間
愛情裡是不是只能1對1呢?
難道不能1對2 或1對多呢?
而愛情的關係中 那“perfect balance”指的是甚麼呢?
是性靈相通? 穩定的物質生活? 氣味相投的喜好? 還是性愛的契合?
電影並沒有給我們答案
誠如電影結尾 Woody給了我們一些大哉問~

Vicky went home to have her grand wedding to Doug to the house they both finally settled on，and to lead the life she had envisioned for herself before the summer in Barcelona.

Christina continued searching certain only of what she didn’t want.


不知為何，這結尾的旁白真有種當頭棒喝的感覺
或許 人類對於什麼是愛…愛要如何維繫…的追尋
永遠沒有答案

值得一提的是Penélope Cruz
在裡面的表現 非常搶眼
雖然戲份不多 但非常吸睛
Scarlett Johansson完全被她給比下去
果然 薑是老的辣
也才發現 以前的好萊塢電影是不是都把Penélope給糟蹋了 !?
她以這部片入圍本屆Oscar的最佳女配角 可謂實至名歸
